Sproutisme du jour
Yesterday morning Jim was using the bathroom and Sprout wanted to wash his hands. Jim suggested that he wash them in the kitchen sink.
So this is what I heard, standing in the kitchen, when Sprout appeared from around the corner:
"Daddy say for me to wash my hand in da chicken sink."

That reminds me of my Jolly Green Giant when he was but a Little Green Sprout...he used to say ham-ger-bur for hamburger. I was heartbroken when he learned to say it properly.
I LOVE baby speak. The one that pops into my brain before the rest is a little sing-song voice saying "Mo samming!" When Sprout was about a year old, we used to give him salmon for lunch and he loved it. "Mo samming, Mummy, mo samming!"
